Why is our repair service special

Our welding, forging and fabrication expertise does not stop at creating new items, we use the same skills to re-create broken and missing elements to give existing items a new lease of life. We will make the parts from scratch to ensure an exact a fit as is possible.

Rebuilding to an existing template is well within our capability or just that metalwork repair that needs the Pendle Forge expertise to complete.

What we repair

We will consider repairing metal work items such as gates, balustrades, window boxes and ornamental items that require welding, forging or fabrication. We will advise whether it is economic to repair an item, unless an item is of sentimental value.

Rapid, emergency repairs are also undertaken, subject to existing commitments at Pendle Forge.

As with our made to order service, a repair may be concerned with how an existing item is fitted: gates may no longer swing, mounting posts may have moved, or land shifted. The only solution may be to re-fabricate the fittings, and re-hang the gates.
